Dr. Nurul Hidayat currently serves as the Head of Chemistry Department at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Indonesia. Before his appointment as Head of Chemistry Department, he was Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in Indonesia, Secretary of the Department of Chemistry and Secretary of the Post Graduate Program in Chemistry Department. After completing his undergraduate degree at UGM in 1996, Dr. Nurul Hidayat earned his Master degree in 2000, graduating with distinction from the Master Program in Chemistry, UGM. He later earned his Doctoral in Analytical Chemistry from Innsbruck University, Austria. Dr. Nurul Hidayat began his career in Chemistry Department as a lecturer in 1998. Dr. Nurul Hidayat is a speaker at several of national/international seminars, workshops, and conferences. In 2006, He was a member of the editorial board of the Indonesian Journal of Chemistry. He has supervised and served as examiner for numerous Master and PhD thesis, published in national and international journals on chemistry and environmental chemistry topics.
