Dr. Muhammad Abdurrahman Munir holds a B.Sc. degree (Hons) in Pharmacy from the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) (2011). He moved on with his M.Sc. studies at UNIMAS under Prof. Dr. Zaini Bin Assim and Prof. Dr. Fasihuddin Ahmad's supervision (2014-2016). Since completing his M.Sc. research, he served as a teacher at Kiblah School (Science and English) for 5 years. At the same time, he pursued his Ph.D. at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). He received his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (2017-2021) under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Khairiah Haji Badri (a great teacher, researcher, and also a kind and fantastic supervisor) and Prof. Dr. Lee Yook Heng. Currently, he works as a lecturer at the University of Malaysia Sarawak and focuses on electrochemistry. He now leads a research group focused on the boundaries of analytical chemistry, analytical biochemistry, and electrochemistry, designing various types of (bio)sensors for analytical applications.
